Based on popular demand (two persons asked for it), I edited and mixed the music of the live concert I played two weeks ago
for a sold out audience of four (son, daughters and wife). I played one long piece, followed by an 8 minutes encore. I wasn’t very happy with the long piece, so I am posting only the encore.
Notes on the technique used to capture the concert
In the past two months I’ve been getting better and better at recording and mixing audio files, and editing movies.
For this concert, I decided to use a microphone mounted on a stand on top of the built-in stereo microphones of my recorder and the ones of the camera. Five channel recording, no less. The mic stand is quite disgraceful in the image, but it gives better results on the sound level. When you remember to put it on, which I didn’t. I guess my home-made magic potion is not ideal for all types of work after all.

You wrote that the exhibition is open again. Are there also new dates for the concerts?
(I wonder if I ever will be able to see a concert though, because 9pm became my new midnight now. I never slept so much all my live, maybe since they sent me to school when I was 6. 🙂 )
